Made a toy for my son...

Found some .30 cal blanks at a garage sale last fall, and had an idea for a toy for my son so he can be ready for the "Army" games that usually happen after church between all the young boys. So here is what I came up with. It's a bit rough but I'm sure it will be rougher after a few hostile takeovers in the church parking lot.

Cool looking toy. You might want to add some orange so the uninformed will know it's only a toy.

I will be painting the tip, I actually just finished the black during my lunch break, and have a can of red nearby.

You know, those toy things can easily be converted to full auto. Watch out for the BATFE!

My big one was more of an open bolt guy when he was a kid. I made two, but I think just this one survived all the night time assaults. It's funny. I was doing some spring cleaning and found his camo face paint just a few days ago.

There used to be an eyelet at the rear too, for a sling.
