I have a Rem 700 ADL 3006 I would like to upgrade into a good setup on the Magpul Hunter stock.
What comes with the stock from Magpul?
What do I need to order kit wise to use AICS mags? What other hardware will I need to include in my parts scrounge.
Just trying to cover that cost before I spend $ on optics foolishly

I have a couple of these...I had to get a separate floorplate kit w/mag for the LA and the LA Magnum (300WM).

Per Magpul website:
"All blind floorplate ADL models will require current factory Remington hinged bottom metal or the optional Magpul Bolt Action Magazine Well 700L Standard or Magnum. Not compatible with Remington 700 DM models with their proprietary detachable box magazines."

You get the stock. the LOP spacers and generally the high cheek riser. You'll need to purchase the trigger guard/magazine kit separately.

Just checked my box of extra pieces. It cam with both adaptors for regular and AICS mags

Edit. Just checked Magpul web site and the the AICS mag adaptor is now a separate option. That kinda sucks. I got mine 2 years ago and it came with both

OK, just took some pics. Per my post #3, the stock comes as if you are using the bottom metal on your rifle. If you have an ADL, you either need to get bottom metal, or get the detachable mag floorplate.

I have the Magnum floor plate and mags at the top Left and the standard LA floorplate and mags at the top right (I keep them separated from the stocks) The floorplate kit come with the floorplate and one mag. You have to buy extra mags if you want more than one.

@rc508pir 👇 👇 👇 👇 Your setup has a mag included because it's a Ruger American, not a Rem 700.

There is no mag included with that one, nor with any of the Ruger American series Magpul stocks. You get the Stanag mag well, but no mag. Mine have all been converted to AICS mags. Rugers and Remingtons

Actually the Ruger American stock no longer comes with the AICS adaptor. Guess Magpul trying to save/make $$$
