Veteran actor Mark Margolis known for "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" has died at 83, his son, Morgan Margolis confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

His son said he died Thursday at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City after a short illness.

He received an Emmy nomination for his role as Hector "Tio" Salamanca, a former cartel enforcer who communicated using a brass bell attached to his wheelchair.
