I dug my Marlin 881 out today to cycle the bolt a few times to limber it up and get it ready for skunk-mageddon. I stumbled across the midway usa web site. I looked into the various model breakdowns and the listed alot of parts for the 880 & 882 rifles, but, only a stock for the 881. Whats the deal with the 881's? Are they not as loved as the other 2? What's the difference between the 3 models? Also, where can I get some CCI CB 22LR rounds? Thanks.
Never mind, a quick Google search answered my questions. Here's another question. I've read that you can improve the trigger on these rifles. How would somebody go about performing said trigger job to improve shooting?

I was only asking about the trigger job to see if anybody had actually done this and if a dolt like me could successfully pull it off.
Read up on Rimfirecentral forums. They have a dedicated Marlin section. If the 881 trigger is like the 9xx guns, then it's more about a spring change or two, than trigger work.
