Good luck on finding one. I tried to find a good used and gave up. I ordered a new one last March and it might be here next week I was told last week.
I ordered a Precision Matthews 11 x 27. I called them a few weeks ago and they can't get the 11 x 27 anymore. So I will be getting a 11 x 30 for the same price because I already had put money down. I did a bunch of research and it was the best deal out there. It has a 1 and 1/2" spindle bore and a power cross feed. Most small lathes don't have either.
I've looked at them quite a bit. They seem to have a pretty good rep as an importer. Spent more time looking at their mills and some of the Taiwan ones especially, look nice.
Almost all the small lathes and mills are made in Taiwan or China. From everything I read the ones made in Taiwan are better made. I have a mill from Precision Matthews that I bought used.
