I have an '82 Ford pickup I would sell. I don't want to spend the time and money to fix it up, but I would sell it to someone who wants to.So are you saying that you have a 76 ford pickup for sale ?

I actually have an aftermarket AC that I intended to put in it (pulled out of my '65 Galaxie before I traded it off), but I'm just not up to messing with it. It has almost 300k miles on it and also needs brake work. The body's not pristine either, it's just an old shop & farm workhorse.Maybe if you want an auto and ac you could do an LS swap into the old Ford.
MoBoost here has a shop and could do it turn key and equip it with AC.
Or just get an auto stuck into it and some AC.
Those 300" sixes and other Ford inline 6's are excellent and if you keep clean oil and filters in them they will go 400,000+ miles
Just a thought ya know
have the rear end sticking up higher than the front.
Looks like a ducks butt.
My brother had an F-150 from that generation (an '01, I think), and it was noticeably shorter than my '13 F-150.I may be selling my 2000 Ford F-150 XLT pretty soon since I no longer can safely drive. Bought new from factory with build sheets. Always pampered. Easy to get in an out of.
It also has to do with how much the truck squats while loaded; if they run tail-high while empty, they stand a better chance of not blinding oncoming traffic when running with a load (either in the bed or on a trailer) after dark. The rear sticking up is all about gas mileage. They put the rake in it to make it more aero dynamic. You can get leveling kits pretty cheap but it will raise the front to match the rear.
