I highly doubt the RFID, active or passive. I would guess that the casino will now remove all remaining chips of the stolen denominations, and replace them with a completely different design/color that way, if an old one shows up, its acquisition can be questioned.

They won't remove all remaining chips of stolen denomination (too much involved...... i.e. gaming commision, design and production cost). Just easier to track and keep alert for stolen ones. You can't just walk up to cage and cash out big denomination chips, ID's are checked and verified, etc., etc.

No. Not even. This was theft of the illegal kind. ETA: It was also puzzified theft, using a gun.

No one makes anyone go to casinos, same as no one makes you drink beer, smoke cigarettes, eat at McDonalds, whatever. That is part of what is screwing us over right now.

Just like the others, I agree that it's an easy way to lose. So like I said above, I don't go to them. I also don't blame fast food joints for my lazy azz not working out. When I was drinking heavily, I didn't blame the alcohol companies. When I decided I was doing it too much, I stopped, just like that. My Grandpa did the same thing with smoking, 40 years a smoker, no doctor telling him he needed to quit, he just quit.

If you want a crutch, make one for yourself. Don't blame other people and then hire a lawyer because you don't have the mental capacity or ability to stop your own problems yourself.
Dont have any habits as far as gambling drinking etc. IMO think its funny they got took.

So everyone that brings a chip back into the casino to be played with will have to endure a? lie detector test? Ive never seen a serial number on a chip in vegas.

They only care about the big chips. Run a black light over some big chips and you will probably see the Paulson <---- spelling Logo (top hat & cane).

When a player for instance leave one table and go to the next with some big chips from previous table, I had to call serveillance and/or cage and provide description of said player.

I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally let this person go WITH OUT much resistance for safety of guests due to it being chips. If it had been cash from the cage, I strongly believe it would have been a MUCH bigger chaotic scence. There are special security on site with live ammo, but they are only called upon in EXTREMELY dangerous situations.

Trust me, these stolen chips will not be exchanged back into cash............unless the robber happens to know of someone in the ELITE Black Card status.........which I highly doubt he/she does.

I heard that the center of poker chips contain fingerprint readers which are beaming your personal data back to the Gaming Control Board's top secret command center. That information is sold to the Feds who analyze the supplied information to determine who can be sold to foreign nations as laborers in lieu of International debt payment. Those that make the cut are destined for forced international travel at a future date still yet unknown. Those not capable have a plastic bed already made and waiting for them at many of the hidden FEMA death-camps across the US. The Feds will then relay specific information back to the dealer through an antenna located in the dealer's ID badge, which then allows the dealers to fix the game that cause the future laborers to lose and the future FEMA Bed & Deathfast guests to win, only to have their winnings confiscated during "round-up time" anyway, both options still mean the Government gets your money. The real kick is that the dealers aren't real dealers at all, they're actually robots, but we don't know that they're robots because the robots look and act human, all the while the human card dealers are off having sex with our wives.
