Get a set of Dunlop Q-2's or BT16's. If you want t good mix of mileage and stick, check out the Pirelli Angel or Corsa. Stay away from Shinko, I have seen and heard of too many low sides and lost control issues because of that tire. If you want to run 1/4m at the track you cant beat em. For a 600cc bike, a clip style master link chain will be ok, just make sure you put a little silicone on the clip to hold it in place and check it often, for peace of mind, put the rivet chain on it. If the fork seals are only leaking and not shot, the dust seals could be contaminated. Take a water bottle, or two litre bottle and cut a piece of it away to resemble a hook knife, now slide it up under the dust seal and pull the hook you made towards you and all the way around the seal. I wont promise this will fix it, but it will help remove contaminants and keep you from replacing the seals, if they are not blown. Good luck and post up some pics! I love bikes and love riding, pic is in Taos New Mexico last September.
