He was shooting at a blue plastic flower pot about 35ish ft away. This was his second run on the 9mm. He has on eye pro, just in case anyone brings it up....

That's awesome. I have an 8, almost 10, and 11.5 yr old. When did you start him out ? So far I have only had them shoot 22lr.

That's awesome, I had my 6yr old blasting the xdm 5.25 at a range I won't name on here (I had control of weapon while he pulled trigger!) what a blast!

I started him pretty young, wanted to de-mystify the whole gun thing pretty fast. His first gun was a 12ga 870. LOL.

My kids love to shoot too! Not up to the 9mm yet, but they are 8&9 and both love my M&P AR 22 and my Sig 226 has a .22 slide they like too!

Terran (my 9 year old) hasn't fired any handguns bigger than a 22, but we are shooting the 308 AK this weekend. Maybe I should bring a 9mm too. He LOVES the 9mm AR.

Good job. My 9-year-old shoots .22 in handgun and rifle pretty regularly. He's shot a 20-gauge too. I'll show him this video to pump him up to shoot one of my 9s.
