If you watch the video from 22plinkster posted above by RugersGR8, around the 2:46 mark he says that CCI does not recommend this ammo for use in revolvers for self defense. They said it would fire fine, but the barrel/cylinder gap would vent too much pressure, slowing velocity and not giving the bullet the expansion.
