Man-oh-man.....Katrina in Houston, same type of curfew. What was really weird, the 4th largest city in the U.S. and it was somewhat deserted. Reminded me of a zombie or end of the world movie...no-one in sight, very creepy. Cops wouldn't come out if your house was broken into...call insurance company. No gas, no food, it sucked!!! Dusk to dawn curfew, pistol in my pocket everywhere I went. Tropical storm Rita flooded the heck oit of Houston...what a pain in the @ss. Hurricane Ike...almost as bad. It hit Galveston, but up in my area of Houston eleven days no electricty, food, gas....that sucked also. Don't miss the hurricanes or tropical storms...miss the food and friends...not the storms. A person never forgets the first time of seeing a casket floating in the Galveston cemetary. There's a reason they pour cement on top of the grave...sea level has a very shallow water table. Then when a storm floods the area...not only do the worms come up, but anything else that isn't bolted or cemented down!!! Gotta call some buddies in Lake Charles and Cameron area to see if they are okay and not flooded out. Cohiba
