It wasn't an easy delivery...with the weather and all. Bought this little baby from John at Proload.com. Thanks to the folks that gave me John's contact info...nice guy for those interested in Les Baer 1911's.

Nice... Did you get it when he was having the sale? I almost sprang for another but I have 4 1911's now. I don't have one with the adjustable sites yet but it's next on my list. Can't beat the Baers!

I just missed the sale. Oh well. This is my second 1911 (first was a Springfield TRP).

Went to the range for the first time today with the Les Baer. Shot 300 rounds...just to break it in. Ran great! I really like the feel of this gun! Accuracy was excellent for the conditions....was shooting in verrryyyy low light. It will definitely take more break-in time (still pretty tight). Trigger is sweet and light. So far I'm very happy with this purchase...can't beat it for the price. Last time I saw one on Bud's (about 2 weeks ago) they were selling for $1532. Mine cost me $1613....but I got one without the front cocking serrations (which I really like).
