I looked at the Startpage site and when it opens, there is small text beside it that says "enhanced by Google".

Use Bing - I have found that I like it and the associated content better.

I don't like other search engines, never have. The problem is that while I loathe Google, I like their search. If I could get away from Google, I would. However, I have 2 clients that work exclusively through Gmail and Google drive. They have infected everything, youtube, all of that. I have multiple accounts and I can't be signed into a Gmail account and an unrelated Youtube account at the same time because it automatically connects all google-related apps. Pisses me off to no end.

All of these, however are first-world problems.

I would suggest to Michael Schaus that while he's adding the text he actually read it. Why do seemly intelligent people not grasp the simply fact that the Bill of Rights protects us from government intrusion.
