well dang man sorry hear things were kinda a bust. but at least you got out and about for the days to get out and see something. have you had any luck up around the area you and i went out to.

hope things get better for ya during the rest of bow....cold weather might finally move in and get them moving.

At least you had plenty of deer to look at.
I've tried a decoy once, and didn't have luck with it, but a buddy uses one all the time and has great fun watching the young bucks tear it up.
One thing I've read, and my buddy confirms it, is that the decoy has to be really sprayed with scent-away, almost dripping with it before putting the doe scent on it. From the way you described the deer bolting after smelling it, this might be the reason.
