Actions speak louder than words. Punishing the students showed the true colors of the school and district. As the saying goes, "Everything before the BUT is bullsh!t," and all the excuses and "we back first responders" from the school/district is BS. The schools actions would be warranted if the students carried out KKK, BLM, Nazi flags etc. BUT, to punish students for proudly displaying first responders flags, for an event/day commemorating first responders is lunacy. The school/district should have been honest and said the following: "We are putting on a 'First Responders' event to bring in the masses to pay to watch a game to bolster our revenue; BUT we will continue to indoctrinate your children in the works of our lord and savior Karl Marx. Any student descension from our directives/gospels will not be tolerated." Always remember, we are descendants of Men who would not be ruled. "Watch your six, count your rounds, and keep your powder dry."
