Oklahoma native Candace Crick grew up a city girl until she met her husband Tim. After hearing about all of his hunting adventures she finally picked up a bow about 4 years ago and started hunting with him. When she got "buck fever" the first time staring down at a big Oklahoma buck, she was hooked.
Candace and Tim live just outside Chandler with their five boys. Between raising kids, running a farm and helping her husband run Clearwater Plumbing out of Edmond she finds time to shoot her bow daily, with the kids.
On a fluke she sent in a video to Prois Hunting's website for their 2012 Prois Awards. As luck would have it she was picked as one of twelve across the United States as a Prois Awards Finalist.
Candace and Tim took up my offer to hunt Idaho this year for Spring black bear. With the 13 hours of footage they gave me to edit I put together this promo as a precursor to their full hunt which will be release on December 15th, 2012.
