I caught sight of one in front of me late in 2020 on the way to work one morning(just south of collinsville on the highway). The deer came out from behind the overpass support on a dead run and jumped the guard wires where I caught it dead center in the air. For some reason the battery in mine was dead that morning and I jumped into the half ton. I had enough time to move a knee up to steady the wheel and pull my arms back in case the airbag fired. Bang, and a bit of a thud as it went under the front axle. How big was it? Smear and chunks were spread out probably 3 car lengths. Took the day off work, replaced battery and rode to work the next day on the goldwing. Keep your eyes open, enjoy the ride. When time is up it’s up don’t worry about it much till then. I put one of those ranch hand bumpers on and haven’t seen a deer since when driving it (and I been lookin for some payback) Wing stuff doesn’t have anything close that I have seen for the bike unfortunately.
