been keeping a eye out for a serpa that can handle a wide body 6" 1911.. I've had a offer to make a custom one from leather. but as of now I'm thinking I'll have to get a serpa for a 5" 1911. mod the end so the front blade won't hang. and mod the opening so there is room for the wide body.. any input? leather would be my last resort or a spare. and don't want a custom kydex. (looks funny to me). any one seen something that would work in a store?
