That is one lucky kid. Very nice 10/22 and a great way to introduce him to shooting.

+1... How's the factory fit of that archangel stock?

The stock fits like a glove! The body fits snug and the barrel free floats. The stock is a bit on the heavy side but is great for bench shooting. The Tactical Solutions barrel is wonderful but it does require some light sanding to fit in the receiver. Overall it is a great system, wish I had one when I was a kid. My first gun was a Stevens single shot bolt action .22lr, it was ugly but it shot strait and true.
