Promag question

I recently obtained a new dpms lr308 recon. I found aluminum promag mags for it are they any good. Any info appreciated.

A buddy of mine bought some promags for a Sig .45 acp, and we ended up shooting at them with working mags. Yes, he was that pissed.

Another buddy story. Friend had an AR in .223 that he tried using promags in, his new rifle was basically a single shot unless I let him borrow one of my Magpul PMAG's. Even though the PMAG's are a little more expensive, it's totally worth it to not have head aches and constantly be asking yourself "is it the mag". Running a PMAG that isn't so well worn it needs a new spring the chance it's a mag issue is very low.

the dpms mags that came with it seem pretty good but im ordering pmags. I was kinda nervous bout promags. Thanks for confirmation.
