Last week I was all set to buy myself a new Purple Ruger SR-22,,,
But by the time I got myself to The Evil Pawn Shop,,,
It and the black one had sold to a hubby-wife.
Nothing convinces you that you really want something,,,
Like going to look at it and finding it's gone.
But The Evil Pawn Shop Guy came through for me again,,,
I called him yesterday around lunchtime,,,
He had just got another one in.
So despite the good-natured kidding in another thread,,,
I went there after work and bought it.
On it's first range trip I ran 200 flawless rounds through her,,,
Well, 199 flawless rounds because of one of the Remington Golden Bullets,,,
It took two trigger pulls to detonate the Remmie GB but the handgun still performed flawlessly.
50 rounds of CCI Mini Mag RN,,,
50 rounds of Remington LRN Milsurp,,,
50 rounds of Remington Golden Bullets,,,
50 rounds of Federal Bulk Pack from Wal Mart.
I think it's purple and therefore a gun made for royalty,,,
Ruger calls it Raspberry.
Kinda reminds me of that song from the late 50's,,,
It's a Dee-Aay Ess-Aay Poly Purple Ruger Pistol.
I think this will be a very nice range pistol,,,
I take a lot of young ladies shooting,,,
I'll bet this becomes very popular.
Purple is the color of royalty,,,
I think I'll name her Regina.
