Yeppers. Pretty much what I probably did wrong that first time. It has functioned properly since then, and druryj's comments eased my mind a lot. Fyrtwuck just left after checking out the 30SF. He says that it looks like it hasn't been fired much at all as there was very little wear on the tip of the barrel. Since I figured that he wouldn't charge me anything for looking at the 30SF, we treated him to lunch at KT's Smokehouse before coming to the RV to look it over. Being a Glock armorer, he broke the 30SF all the way down and inspected all of it. I appreciate him for doing that, and I appreciate everyone that commented here in this thread. Now, I'll feel very comfortable with taking it to a range. What I noticed that seemed to indicate more usage was the wear on the slide lock thumb whichie. I never even thought that the wear probably came from being in a holster. Anyway, thanks to all here and especially my thanks to Fyrtwuck. Y'all are good folks.
