I’ve got a Remington 700 varmint in 223 that I had a gunsmith cut down from 26” to 18” and thread 5/8x25 for a suppressor. Gun is a solid sub moa gun with good ammo and still shoots good even with junk. Has about 300 rounds down the barrel and is sitting in a Bergara B14R stock with detachable bottom metal. Might take a gen 5 glock or cz shadow optics ready on trade. That’s a 1” dot with crappy pmc ammo.
