I went to a gun show in Durant today. Unfortunately, I had very little money. Luckily, I found a revolver which didn't cost very much money. I know a lot of folks bad mouth Rossi, but, if this one shoots like it looks, I did very well.

Excuse the fuzzy pic. When I saw this one on the guy's table, I thought it was a S&W 63. When he told me the price, I knew I was wrong.

I have a lot of trouble holding on to guns, but maybe this will make a good little truck gun. We'll have to see how it shoots.

I had a Rossi .357 that I wound up giving to my mom.

I never had any problems with it, and honestly enjoyed shooting it. The only thing I could complain about is that the front site had a colored sticker on it, vs paint or colored insert, and it came loose after one trip to to the range.

I'm kinda looking forward to shooting it. I've got a pot full of .22 shorts, CB shorts, and CB Longs with nothing else to shoot them in.

There could be some turtles saying their prayers tonight.

Mine shoots great 5 out of 6 rounds,,,

I bought it a few years ago for $75.00,,,
One of the "spokes" on the ejector star is gouged down to nothing.

So the cylinder only turns 5 times and sits still for the 6th shot.

I did find out that replacing the ejector star isn't all that simple,,,
Apparently you need to replace the entire cylinder,,,
It's not a drop-in so a gunsmith is needed.

I did find a place that will sell me the cylinder assembly for $65.00,,,
I think I'll go ahead and buy it then find a gunsmith,,,
It's not as nice a gun as my S&W 63 or 34,,,
But it will make a great loaner gun.

If your shoots as well as mine you will be very happy,,,
Mine is easily as accurate as my J-frame S&W's.

If I do have it repaired and it works well afterwards,,,
I'll probably use it as a graduation gift for a friend of mine,,,
We've gone shooting several times and she really needs a gun of her own.

She's getting her BA in Industrial Engineering from Ok State,,,
If I get it repaired in time I'll make her an OSU themed gun-belt and holster for it.

She really liked shooting my S&W Model 63,,,
I think this would be close enough to it.

Even though I love her like a kid sister,,,
She ain't getting my Model 63.

P.S. I approve of the mouse pad in the pic of your gun. :thumbup3:
