i just picked up a blued on wood, and a ss with synthetic. picked them both up for $390. i have never shot either, and switched the stocks. the ss on wood looks great. ruger does not offer such a combination. i plan to sell the ss on wood, the blued on synthetic i plan to give to my little brother for his 10th birthday on the 22 of January. i figured he is going to be just old enough for a .22 and mine as well be a 10/22 for commemorations sake.
