S&w 3906

Was looking for some info and opinions on the smith 3906. Saw one on J&G sales that came with 8rd mag. Are these a single stack pistol? Are they SA/DA? Is the width of the grip narrow like most single stacks? Have been looking for a 9mm same as or similar to a 1911 to plink with in the 9mm with out spending a buttload to buy it.

It's a full size single stack 9mm with alloy frame and they are DA/SA. Nice gun, but by the time you pay $350 + 22.00 shipping + whatever your dealer charges for transfer, I think it's a little steep considering the condition of the gun. It's not a highly desirable model and if you decide to turn it you may have difficulty recouping your investment.

If you decide to get one, I may have an extra mag laying around for it.

I wouldn't buy the one on jg. To rough for me. Had been looking at other models when I saw this one and didn't know anything about it.

Sold mine to a friend for that price which included ten magazines. It was sitting in my safe for years and he really wanted it. Great shooter that was very reliable.
