Went to the Little River today. Spend a hour and half. Nothing, no bites. I think it's to early.
I was in the upper Creeks at Kaw yesterday. NADA. The crappie and sand bass were in there two days before but the rain and resulting muddy water took them back out of the creeks. Its narrow enough that I can see both sides with the sidefinder. Three boats in there, only two crappie and one little catfish caught.
Finally hit a few yesterday on the Verdigris. Mostly males, but the few females still had eggs.
Nice string of sand bass Jerry. What were they hitting on?
Solid chartreuse road runners.
Anyone tried any creeks around Eufaula? That is about the closest place to me with sandies in it.
I was on Duchess Creek yesterday......no sandies
