Sandy Hook Panel to Recommend More Gun Control
Jan. 19, 2015

"After the horrific murders in Newtown, Connecticut, in 2012, Democrat Gov. Dannel Malloy and the state legislature exploited the emotional panic to enact strict gun control measures. Malloy also set up a commission to investigate what further gun measures the state could employ to make people safer (infringe the Second Amendment)."...

Is Joe Biden involved in this panel? I sure hope he is. He carries a lot of weight in swaying public opinion (negative that is).

Sounds like the governor forgot to look at mental health care. That might have had something to do with the cause.

Oh well as long as only a few people in Connecticut own guns or have any real world experience with them, they will fall for anything.

I guess that could be considered one avenue toward reducing overcrowding in their schools ...

Yeah, it sounds harsh, doesn't it. Tough. Their anti-gun-rights policy has already proven to accomplish just that. If you limit the people's ability to defend themselves, you open them up to tyranny and despotism - even if it's the despotism of a sole miscreant.

I would think that any politician not voting for more gun control in that district would quickly loose their job.

That being said, there are times that losing ones job to make a stand is absolutely the correct way to go.

IMHO, the members of the lib left are more willing to throw themselves under the bus and do a Kamikaze act of passing more/stronger gun control legislation than many(not all)members of the RINO right who will shy away from voting for Pro-2nd Amendment Legislation and thus put their House/Senate seats on the line. Many members of the RINO right lack a spine or kahunas, cojones, testicles, etc. to do the RIGHT THING.

have contact with a fellow in Ct and he said that they were very close to a shooting war back when they passed the registration requirement ....you remember when the Ct state police were saying that they would enforce the law and confiscate weapons....the gun owning residents of Ct(80k/100k) said "we will not comply"...the state realized that a shooting war against 80k citizens would not end well for the state and they backed off their position .... the gun owners in Ct were very close to a shooting war....
