Found a 308 still looking for a 7mm-08 or 25-06. Possibly a 223. Would like to stay under 500 with scope.

i like my savage 110 hog hunter in 223. i took the front and rear sights off and mounted a rail above the receiver then scoped it. it might be a little heavy for some but it balances real good for me and shoots excellent.

For sure. I have a 110 in 308 that I love and an axis 2 in 6.5 cm with bull barrel that’s a great shooter.
