Saw a SR 1911 @ Academy

I've been carrying a S&W Gunsite and love it, and can tell ya. It will do everything my Colt customs by Yost, Baer, and Swenson will do. I bought and sold a SR1911 when it first come out. Big Mistake, this pistol will not stay at these prices for long.

I know this may sound like heresy, and I AM a huge Ruger fan, but I'm not liking the Ruger, S&W, and Remington's foray into the 1911 market. Maybe I just don't see it, but why jump into a market which is already saturated?

Im pretty sure that Remington has quite a bit of prior experience making 1911's, not really a jump to a new market.

Besides, no matter what gun you buy first, eventually you will come around and buy a 1911.
