I know the big discussion lately is about the approval times for suppressors, but I am wondering how the approval times are looking for Form 1 SBRs. I'm considering getting a suppressor for my 300 Blackout and I was thinking that if I did that, then I'd probably want to SBR it since...well, why not. So, I'm just wondering how long the approval time is for the SBR side of things. Anyone have any recent experience or information?
I only personally know one guy in the last 5 years that had to wait more than 32 days for a form 1 SBR
Form 1 has historically been significantly faster than form 4.
When I did my Form 1 SBR it was like 2 weeks turnaround, while at the same time my Form 4s were taking 11-13 months.

Form 1 are pretty quick.
Thanks for the info everyone. I'm not well versed on the NFA thing yet, but I'm finally thinking seriously about dipping my toes into the water. Just gotta wait for a client to pay me my d*mn money (from my side job that produces my fun money).
Mine took 9 months but that was a few years ago.
My Form 1 SBR took 2 weeks a year ago.
Just got a e-file 1 one back today. 29 days from the time I hit the submit button and mailed the print cards.
