have lower and wanting to build an 9mm. Need advice on buffer and spring, will a block work in mag well or does lower have to be specific? Trigger?

You can buy magazine blocks that uses a standard lower, but I went ahead and got a dedicated PCC lower. Quarter Circle 10 is the one I went with for Glock mags.

Got to play with one of these last week. I am sold on them. A lot of engineering went into this little piece. Although pricey, it was very well made and seemed to do the job. You also get last round bolt hold open.

Just make sure you have a 'Glock cut' or ramp cut bolt.

I have a CMMG Banshee in 9mm. CMMG's "radial delayed blowback" action is very soft shooting (not that a 9mm is anything hard) and it runs on Glock mags (you can get one that will use Colt sticks). Super fun gun to shoot.
