[QUOTE="seurto, post: 1486966, member: 16013"] The "entitlement" crowd/culture is much more prevelant along I-10 (from Houston to NOLA) than here in Oklahoma.. But much worse in NOLA than anywhere's else along I-10.. Acorn was started there.. just a coincidence? hmm.. Asian culture in general is more geared toward honor, doing right for the "collective", and such.. They've been accustomed to being in a monarchial state for quite some time, but personal and family honor is an underlying theme.. Whereas, America was and is made up of "rebels".. Everyone who came here, came here escaping something, and so, personal gain and freedom is the underlying theme. Although, in the past 50yrs or so, it has been twisted into some extremely socially unhealthy directions, in some parts of the country.. To the point where "honor", is almost a dirty word. Atleast, thats my thoughts on the deeper philisophical side of the matter. ultimately though, once the people feel that they are being dis-honored with in-accurate information, and panic sets in, due to shortages and lack of preparation, the basic human denominator will rear its ugly head.. Country, community, family, self.. It will take a strong person to deny the primordial desire to survive "honorably" above family.. and thats what it will boil down to, for anyone.. testinal fortitude of honor, and how little or much one has..
