I hope this is not in the wrong place. I was wanting you guys and ladies to thoughts about cocked and locked shooters. I think my all time favorites are the browning hi-power and of course old slab sides 1911’s. In my world those two are tops. I have a couple of 1911’s, and 1 I am building. I also have a FEG hi-power, exact copy of a old browning. Browning parts will interchange with my FEG. It is a real shooter with either 124 or 147 grainers. Trigger is sweet. Wish it had better sights and bigger safety, but it’s good to go. Those, I think, are probably 2 of the best hand guns ever made. I know browning stopped production, and others have come out with clones, but my FEG shoots better than an original browning I shot. There is some chatter about Springfield maybe going to resurrect it. I guess time will tell. What are y’all’s thoughts on these 2 guns? Here’s a couple of pics of mine.
