Congrats to the folks donating to the officers cause. It's obvious they realize why we need them from their history.

I seem to remember seeing some news blurb that there had been something like $60,000 donated to the young lady.

In searching for that story, I've not found one with the $60,000 total, but did see one up to $20,000.

That young mother and her daughter deserve to be rewarded. Apparently, it was that woman's daughter that suggested the initial donation to the cop's family. What do you want to bet that some of what they receive also goes to the officer and his family?
