If they slim up the steel slide assembly, then they can slim up the rest. Until then, keep it double stack in the mag area. The thick slide assembly is the problem with many double stack autos for concealment and one reason the 1911 platform is still making new converts after a century of use. The 1911 slide assembly is "thin" and easier to conceal, especially if it is an alloy frame model.

To me the M&P slide is a little wide and a SS version would feel a little top heavy. I doubt they'll do one anytime soon as the grip profile on the double stack M&P is already pretty trim compared to some of the others on the market.

I've always wanted a SS Glock 9/40.
