I have a friend and she is left eye dominate and shoots right handed. She never shot a rifle ..I had her shoot my .308 bolt rifle. I noticed she looked odd shooting it and that is when I found out about the left eye thing. I had her close the left eye and look through the right one..she said OH that is much easier!. She out shot her husband that day and he shot rifles many times. Guys when you say SKS is more accurate than an AK do you have any numbers to share. And Not all SKS rifles will shoot with the same accuracy. I would think the same would hold true for the AK I had an SKS. Yea the recoil was small it shouldered well for me, I am 5-11 But the accuracy past 100 yards was horrendous..I should say past 85 yards was terrible. I sold it .. but I am all about accuracy. My friend has it and said it is the most accurate rifle he has. My 7MM Mauser was not accurate unless you just count the first shot. The first shot from a cold barrel was right on the money every time. If you kept shooting by the time you got to the 7th shot it was 4" high and 7" to the left.. It made a nice rainbow dotted line getting there.(Sold it) How accurate is the SKS and AK you guys speak of. Does the original poster want accuracy or does he want to just lob lead in a semi auto fashion. What kind of accuracy would pleas him. Shooting squirrel heads at 200 yards or shooting milk jugs at 100 yards.
