I probably won't try and shoot this first time,,,
I'll just hang out, meet some folk, and see how it's done.

I need to order a few more magazines before I can play.

So this time I'll watch,,,
Maybe make myself useful,,,
And get ready for the next one to happen.

If you don't bring your gear and shoot you will regret it. Lol... Bring what you have and we will help make it work. It will be a good time that you don't want to miss. What are you shooting, I might have some extra mags you can use...

I've got a mkIII 22/45 and six mags. So I could share some mags with you.

trust me, you'll want to shoot. it's a blast.

I'll bring the Ruger 22/45 to shoot the match,,,
I'm at best only a mediocre shot so you can't laugh too much.

I'll also bring my newest play-pretty,,,
I just received my new CZ-75B Kadet last Friday,,,
I've only been able to run 250 rounds through the little lady,,,
But so far she's digested everything from Mini-Mags to Federal Bulk Pack.

Look for the pot-bellied old fart driving an old green toyota pickup,,,
I'll see you all on Sunday the 8th.

I really need to get my feet wet with some SC. I won't be able to make it this weekend but the next SC in Tulsa will be a definite. Obviously shooting .22 would be a benefit but my only handgun is 9mm. Is there a decent amount of pistol caliber shooters there is it mainly rimfire? I suppose this could be a good excuse to pick up a GSG or the likes.

Yes sir, you are more than welcome to run it. I practice with Federal bulk and I don't have issues.

It's a decent mix of production guns and rimfire. there are a couple of show offs (cough...Mitch, Chambers, Rusty, ahem...)
but most of us struggle

Ironsight centerfire (handgun) is the most popular division. There were 32 shooters last weekend. You're all set.

Many people shoot a second gun in rimfire just because...it's fun.

That sounds awesome. I have never tried any sort of competition and thought this might be a good place to start. Sounds like a good reason to go ahead and buy a rimfire as well. Can't ever have too many firearms
