Are Mossberg 500 & Mossberg Maverick Barrels interchangeable ?

yes they are... I currently own both a 500 and a maverick and they do interchange

500 is the family of shotguns.
A = 12 gauge

I think C = 20 gauge and E = .410, but I am not sure.

And about the Mossberg/Maverick bbl fit - not all Mossy 500 bbl are the same. The bbl for the 8 shot is different than the bbl for the 5 shot. So the guy who said they are interchangeable was talking about sticking with 5 shot for both Mossy and Maverick.
