I more or less gave up on Surefire for Streamlight years ago. Not for anything political like this, but just because Streamlight seems to "up one" on Surefire in every way. If Surefire comes out with a new light with 500 lumens, Streamlight will offer a similar torch with 600 lumens. Now then, having said that, I just recently bought a gently used Surefire E2T-MV "Tactician" from a member here. Mostly because I liked the light's features and interface, but also because the price was right. I did not know about Surefire's "sell out" if you will until after I purchased it. If'n I had known that, I may or may not have bought it...who knows. However, just because they offer support to the lefties, doesn't make their product bad. I still wear Levi's jeans and Nike shoes as well and they have both been on the other side for years. Remember when we all boycotted Smith & Wesson when they put locks on their revolvers? If you really wanna get technical, we should boycott everything that used to be made here but has now been moved overseas or to Mexico. If we did that, we'd really be in a world of sheet.
