I just wish they'd bore their tubes for 18650's. I had my C2 Centurion bored out and threw a Cree MC-E lamp in it. It's like triple the output and lasts longer on the battery charge.

I guess rechargeable batteries are safe to use in Surefire lights now.

Only LEDs (that are specifically built for rechargeables) and only LFP 123As... C'mon Surefire - that's not super impressive. I understand that Surefire spends plenty of money on R&D to the light industry, but they seem to refuse some of the free R&D offered to them via Candle Power Forums (which is why the rest of the industry is passing them by).
