Purpose: To teach an individual what is needed to save someone from blunt and penetrating trauma.

This one day course is a highly customized hybrid of numberous trauma programs (advanced trauma life support, tactical combat casualty care, pre-hosptial trauma life support, basic trauma life support) designed to give you, individually, what you need to save someone "if" they can be saved from blunt and penetrating trauma associated with lethal force encounters.



All students will participate in lecture, skills training, and scenarios. This course does not include any firearms training. A few elements covered in this class:



Airway Management

Treating Respiratory Emergency

Controlling Hemorrhage

Improvised Medical Devises

Survival Psychology



This course is a great start for anyone, even people with no medical training, who want to know what they can do to treat themselves or a loved injured in a lethal force encounter. It will provide a foundation to build from as more advanced tactical medical courses are offered.
