No, I'm talking about the sideplate in the parts box. It has the logo on it, but the sideplate on the revolver is smooth. Obviously, you used a different sideplate, right? If so...why? I love old school double logo Smiths. You don't see very many, but they're out there.

The sideplate that came with the frame was fitted to the frame. The one with the logo was not fitted to the frame. I honestly didn't even think about swapping it out.

I didn't want to risk screwing one up - in case I may have use for it in the future.

This is so cool! Probably the same attraction I have for admiring rat rod cars and motorcycles as they have real character and individualism.
