I never actually watched "Dallas." But, we had a guy in town that painted, "Who shot J.R." on the side of one of his vehicles.

We watched Dallas every week faithfully, until the first episode after JR got shot when they revealed who shot him. For no reason in particular, we just lost interest after that specific episode. If we had been still watching after the dream season, I would have been ticked off. What was the point in watching after that? No matter what happened or how it would have impacted the plot, it didn't matter... they could just explain it away as a dream.
