Was just there, visiting friends and taking a summer tour of the Rockies. Pikes Peak Cog train is closed indefinitely, but you can walk or run Barr trail. The Manitou incline is a good way to get your heart rate up as well. Hint- Start early and go on a week day. Parking fills up quick at the top of Ruxton St. Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Cheyenne Mt. Zoo, Ute Inn bar up in Woodland Park (Friend owns it). If hitting a baseball game, go early an see the 16th St. Mall, LoDo/ Train Station. All walking distance from the stadium. Have fun and take a jacket if you're going to be out after dark.
