I feel the same way but they are hyping it as the Pentagon coming clean with their classified stuff which means verification that there are some anomalies out there and then saying they don't know what it is.
The videos of our best pilots trying to lock on those UFOs and talking about them was amazing.
One of our F-14 RIOs is retired now and believes it is ours and is a Gen 7 fighter capable of 1300 knots and G forces capable of almost 90 degree turns.

There's a theory that Earth is one of dozens or hundreds of experiment planets that aliens or advanced civilizations created however long ago. Whenever we "see an alien" is just them coming by to check on our progress.
Aliens in this context does not even mean green men with big heads. Think of the plot to Interstellar where those left on Earth had to find another planet to live on and sent a few different voyages to random planets to see which one would work.
