I attended the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Gun Show for my first time ever today. Up at 530am and, after doing some stuff around here, headed that way and got there around 830. When I got to the EXPO parking lots were pretty full with vehicles and had to park quite a ways out. Didn't see aisle markers so had to find a landmark so I wouldn't forget where I was parked. After walk to the EXPO got right in as $10 exact change only tickets were being sold by roving ticket people from EXPO. Saw and visited with harley128, surjimmy, and Dan308 at their tables. Couldn't ask for nicer or more helpful people. So much stuff to look at! Wasn't as hard to get around with the crowds as may have thought it might have been based on horror stories I had heard. Since I was looking mainly for old revolvers was able to skip past the long guns and newer pistols. Had a Hi Standard revolver with me I was looking to find out some information on regarding double action issue with it. The exhibitors who looked at it were very helpful and gave me good advice and information. Walked around until later in the afternoon and left the building. When I left people had blocked off some of the packed parking lots and parking aisles by parking on the ends. The driver of a blocked-in vehicle was pretty mad and I can't blame him. Glad I could find my car and get out. I did spend some money while I was there...$3.50 for a bottle of water. I am glad I went and may go again someday, but don't expect I will be attending every year. Hope some more folks give their impressions of the show. Also would like to hear from our OSA exhibitors and hope they all did well.
