UPDATE: The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office confirmed the Tuesday night highway shootout was a setup between the driver and the man hidden in the back seat.
Deputies say 19-year-old Xavier Foster, identified as the man hiding in the back seat, knew the intended victim recently purchased a gun. Foster recruited 17-year-old Mariley Lopez to reach out to the victim on Snapchat to set up a meeting so he could rob the victim of his newly purchased gun.
When she went to pick the victim up at his home in Sand Springs, Foster was hiding in the back seat.
