I found a new stainless/fluted 7.5" AR pistol barrel made by Bushmaster for their P21S. It looks like it would be very cool on my shorty build.

These use a goofy-sized gas block (.825"). I already have a .750" diameter block for this upper...I was wondering if any of you guys know where I could have the gas block portion turned down to .750"?

Bushmaster doesn't look like they'll sell me a gas block.

I contacted Bushmaster and they are selling me the factory gas block & tube. Build so far:

Sonju upper/lower
Bushy 7.25" SS fluted lightweight barrel
Midwest Industries T9 Free float
FDE Magpul MOE stock, grip, trigger guard, ASAP sling plate
CMMG LPK
Millett Zoom Dot in Wilcox M68 mount
YHM phantom...eventually

So the barrel is actually 7.25" long and has a .505" diameter around the gas port.

Here's what it looks like, except it won't have a shroud around the gas tube...and it has standard threading for the FH.
