The United States Rifleman's Association will be having an Introduction to Defensive Handgun clinic on Saturday Dec 28, 2013, Near Alex, OK. The fee for this course is $75 and includes the range fees.

This is an Introductory course to defensive handgun. This is not a beginners course, but a course for those that are looking to take their skills to the next level. This course DOES NOT meet the requirements for an Oklahoma Handgun Permit.

In this course you will learn:

• Handgun safety
• Grip
• Presentation
• Handgun operation
• Defensive Marksmanship
• and more



You will need:

• A safe, operable handgun
• 250 Rounds of Ammunition
• 2 or more Magazines or Speed Loaders
• Strong-Side OWB belt holster
• Magazine Pouches
• Sturdy Belt
• Ear and eye protection
• Hat, sunscreen, water
• Closed toe shoes or boots
• No V-neck or low-cut shirts

You will learn all of this in a combination of instruction and practical application, all instruction is done right on the range. We will have a discussion during lunch so plan on sticking around.

This is a great class -- I've taken it myself. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in carrying or using a handgun defensively who would like to get some training -- and no, a CCL course doesn't count as training!
